Do you have a desire to make a positive impact in the healthcare field? We are always looking for volunteers to join our auxiliary group to help with fund raising and awareness programs. The Heart of Texas Healthcare System Auxiliary is a group of volunteers whose primary goal is to raise funds for the hospital through fund-raisers and sales from the hospital gift shop. The Heart of Texas Auxiliary was organized in 1964 and has purchased more than $150,000 worth of equipment, and given countless donations towards the hospital renovations that took place in 2012. The Auxiliary also offers scholarships to Brady High School graduating seniors who plan to train in health-related fields of study, as well as to Central Texas College Nursing School students.
